Flat Shale Shaker Mesh Screen Extra Fine Wire Cloth for FLC2000 Shaker
The purpose of shale shaker screen is to separate the solids particles that are larger than the screen opening from the drilling fluids.
Coarse Flow Line Shaker Screens - Most drilling rigs operate their primary flow line shakers with screens too coarse (Screens rated at API 140 or lower) to achieve meaningful solids control. In order to cut costs, drilling rig operators use coarse screens that last longer.
Further, coarse screens minimize the risks of whole mud losses when drilling fluid circulation rates are high. However, the risk of whole mud losses would be significantly reduced, if a sufficient number of shakers screen surfaces were installed.
