This Mellanox Compatible 10GBASE-ER supports 10.3125Gbps (10GBASE-ER) or 9.953Gbps (10GBASE-EW) connectivity up to a maximum distance of 40km (24.8 mi) over single mode fiber (SMF) at a wavelength of 1550nm. It is suitable for NVIDIA (Ex. Mellanox) network switches, routers, firewalls, security gateway, fiber media converter, network adapters, servers, network interface card (NICs), NAS, accelerator card.

The OLSP551XL-CD40 is a Class 1 laser product. It fully complies with the multi-sourcing agreement (MSA) which enables it to work in all MSA compliant platforms. OOLSP551XL-CD40 must be operated within the specified temperature and voltage limits. The optical ports of the module shall be terminated with an optical connector or with a dust plug.
