Composition of Razor Wire:
1. Core wire.
a. Material: galvanized steel wire, galvanized iron wire, stainless
steel wire AISI304 AISI316 or AISI430, steel wire is harder than
iron wire.
b. Wire diameter: 2.5mm diameter most commonly used, can also
choose other wire gauge.
c. Surface treatment: hot-dip galvanized or electro-galvanized if
galvanized treatment is applied.
2. Razor blade plate.
a. Material: galvanized steel plate, or stainless steel plate
AISI304 AISI316 or AISI 430.
b. Thickness: 0.5mm thick is the most common, other thicknesses are
also available.
c. Surface treatment: hot-dip galvanized or electro-galvanized if
galvanized treatment is applied.
3. Clips.
Clipped or unclipped. Usually 3 clips per coil below 600mm in
diameter and 5 clips per coil above 600mm if clipped.
