The Manufacturing process of 300mm sapphire substrate:

  1. Crystal growth: The Sapphire material is grown using the KY or the CZ method.
  2. Cutting: The sapphire crystal is cut into thin wafers using a diamond saw.
  3. Grinding and polishing: The wafer is ground and polished to achieve a smooth and flat surface.
  4. Cleaning: The wafer is cleaned using a combination of chemicals and ultrasonic rinsing.
  5. Drying: The wafer is dried using a spin dryer or a Nitrogen gun.
