Stainless steel 316l sheet is an additionally low carbon variant of 316; you may find both grades very similar, but 316L is most suitable for welding applications. Both 316 and 316L provide good cracking strength, tensile strength, and stress strength at high temperatures, as well as outstanding corrosion resistance too. These Stainless Steel 316L Sheets are magnetic, which cannot be hardened by heat treatment.
