EDI, a new ultra-pure water production technology, is a landmark advancement in the history of pure water production technology. This technology cleverly combines electroosmosis technology with ion exchange technology. Through the selective permeation of anions and cations by anion and cation exchange membranes, and the exchange of ions by ion exchange resins. Under the DC electric field, the directional migration of ions is achieved, thus completely desalinating the water. At the same time, the hydrogen and hydroxyl ions produced by the electric deionization of water will regenerate the ion exchange resin, so that ultra-pure water can be produced continuously without acid and alkaline chemical regeneration.
