Equipment Principle
The working part of this crusher consists of two jaw plates, one is
fixed jaw plate (fixed jaw), which is vertically (or slightly
outwardly inclined at the upper end) fixed on the front wall of the
machine body, and the other is movable jaw plate (movable jaw),
which is inclined in position and forms a crushing cavity (working
cavity) with fixed jaw plate. The movable jaw plate makes periodic
reciprocating movement against the fixed jaw plate, sometimes
separating, sometimes approaching. During separation, the material
enters the crushing chamber and the finished product is discharged
from the lower part; When approaching, the material between the two
jaw plates will be crushed by extrusion, bending and splitting.

Equipment Structure Characteristics
Frame: The jaw crusher is supported by a robust frame structure, which
provides structural integrity and stability during operation. The
frame is typically made of cast steel or welded steel plates,
ensuring durability and strength.
Jaw Plates: The crushing chamber of the jaw crusher contains a pair of jaw
plates, one fixed and the other movable. The fixed jaw plate is
mounted vertically on the front frame while the movable jaw plate
is attached to a moving eccentric shaft. This arrangement allows
for the material to be crushed between the two jaw plates as they
approach each other.
Toggle Plate: The toggle plate acts as a link between the movable jaw and the
rest of the crusher structure. It provides support and facilitates
the opening and closing movement of the jaw plates, allowing for
the crushing action.
Eccentric Shaft and Bearings: The eccentric shaft is a crucial component that transmits the
rotational motion of the motor to the movable jaw. It is supported
by bearings, which reduce friction and enable smooth operation.
Adjustment Mechanism: Jaw crushers are equipped with an adjustment mechanism to control
the size of the discharge opening and the desired product size.
This mechanism allows for the adjustment of the distance between
the fixed jaw plate and the movable jaw plate, enabling the
customization of the crushed material size.
