Spectrum analysis for WDM communication system
Difficult problems in WDM transmission technology are the
wavelength characteristics for the gain, and signal-to-noise ratio
(SNR) between each channel. In evaluation, it is very important to
measure this quantitatively. The MS9710B permits extremely quick
and simple waveform analysis of up to 300 spectra. The waveform and
level (SNR) of each peak exceeding the set threshold is
displayed.
