Image of Xi'an Elite Connector's 2.4 mm product line of adapters now includes a 2.4 mm high-frequency, and quick connect options. These adapters interface between 2.4 mm standard and other popular interfaces, such as 2.92 mm, SMA, and SMP. The 2.4 mm series operates up to 50 GHz and delivers a performance maximum VSWR of 1.25 and typically below 1.20. The high-frequency adapters are ideal for multiple applications.
2.4 mm connectors are more robust than traditional SMA and 2.9 mm connectors and have a thick outer conductor, which increases the outer wall thickness and strengthens the female fingers. The thicker wall of the connector body is designed to engage prior to the center conductor creating a more ruggedized and repeatable mating interface. The interface is air dielectric with the contact supported by a short dielectric bead.
