SMP RF Connector Introduction

SMP is a miniature push-on RF coaxial connector that boasts a small size, lightweight design, exceptional seismic performance, and a broad operating bandwidth. It has an operational frequency range of up to 30GHz (our high-performance SMP connectors can even reach 40GHz), and the plug offers three interface options: full detent, limited detent, and an unthreaded hole (including with braking). These various interface forms cater to the necessary axial or radial movement required for blind mating in the coupling of broad to broad connectors. The SMP is suitable for installation scenarios that demand high reliability and modular compactness.
