The SMP operates within a frequency range of up to 30GHz (our high-performance SMP connectors can extend up to 40GHz). Additionally, the plug comes in three interface options: full detent, limited detent, and smooth bore (including with break-away feature). These various interface configurations allow for the necessary axial or radial movement required for blind mating in broadband-to-broadband couplers. Ideal for installations demanding high reliability and modular robustness, the SMP is an excellent choice for applications requiring mechanical strength and precision connectivity.
