By connecting upright frames to an adjacent wall to get an additional anchor point, wall ties combat this problem perfectly.

Column protectors, also known as post protectors, can safeguard your pallet rack by forming a protective barrier around the columns. Installed around the base of an upright, column protectors can minimize the damage to the columns caused by forklifts, prevent the racks from collapsing or falling down, length the lifespan of your pallet rack eventually.
