Custom CNC Machining Service OEM CNC Turning Stainless Steel Parts Milling

Various CNC Machining Part

CNC machining is a process involving different types of machines, all utilizing computer-controlled

tools to precisely remove material from a workpiece.

The advantage of this computerized control is that CNC machining offers significantly increased

speed, precision, and accuracy compared to traditional machining methods.

Product Details

Stainless steel is highly resistant to corrosion and rust, making it suitable for situations

where a part may be exposed to the elements for a long period of time.

Stainless steel is also fairly malleable and ductile.

Common Stainless Steel Materials
No.Properties
Stainless steel 304/304LThe most common alloy and is known for its pristine surface finish. It has significantly higher corrosion and oxidation resistance. Typically used in the manufacture of sensor parts, shafts, machinery parts, medical parts, and more.
Stainless steel 316/316LIt is slightly higher levels of chromium and nickel that exhibits improved heat tolerance, resistance to creep and pitting, and excellent tensile strength. Typically used in the manufacture of sensor, chemical & pharmaceutical equipment parts, and more.
Stainless steel 303It is a non-magnetic, austenitic stainless steel with good resistance to mildly corrosive atmospheres, but significantly less than 304. Typically used in the manufacture of screw, gears, fittings, bushings, shaft, and more.
Stainless steel 420It is a martensitic stainless steel with good corrosion resistance as well as strength and hardness. It is capable of being heat treated to a hardness of HRC 51 minimum. Typically used in the manufacture of pivots, cams, pump shafts, surgical instrument parts, valve components, and more.
Stainless steel 440CIt is a martensitic stainless steel, and is the highest carbon content from 400 stainless steel series. It is usually heat treated to reach hardness of 58 - 60 HRC. Typically used in the manufacture of valve seats, piston, shaft, and more.
Stainless steel 430It is a non-hardenable ferritic stainless steel with excellent finish quality. It has good corrosion resistance with good formability and ductility. Typically used in the manufacture of fittings, flanges fasteners, piston, and more.
Stainless steel 430FRIt is a free-machining solenoid quality alloy, ideal for parts that require corrosion resistance and high electrical resistivity. It has excellent corrosion resistance in fresh water, gaseous, moderately acidic, and low chlorine environments.
Stainless steel 630It is commonly referred to as 17-4 and is a precipitation-hardening martensitic stainless steel that offers superior corrosion resistance. It is magnetic, readily welded. Typically used in the manufacture of sensor housing, valve, pump shaft, and more.

Applications of Stainless Steel Parts

The utilization of CNC machinery extends across diverse industries, encompassing aerospace,

automotive parts manufacturing, medical machine manufacturing, transportation, defense, marine,

oil and gas, and electronics.

The incorporation of CNC machining has been transformative, allowing these sectors to achieve

heightened efficiency in the mass production of customized CNC parts.

Whether in the creation of intricate components for aerospace or the precision manufacturing

needed in medical devices, CNC machinery has become an integral component in advancing

manufacturing capabilities.

Company Profile

FAQ's

1. What tolerances can achieve?

Tolerance specifications are not one-size-fits-all and are influenced by factors like part size,

design geometry, the number and size of features, material properties, surface finish, and the

manufacturing process.

Upon order confirmation, a Design for Manufacturing review is conducted to pinpoint areas for

potential modification to enhance manufacturability. Clearly indicating critical tolerance areas in

your design is beneficial, allowing for adjustments to streamline production time and costs.

General tolerance guidelines are available for CNC machining in metal and plastic, plastic injection

molding, CNC metals and plastic injection molding materials, metal 3D printing (+/- 0.5mm),

and an expected shrinkage rate of +/- 0.15% for vacuum casting.

It is imperative to specify all manufacturing and technical requirements clearly in the 2D drawings

for accurate adherence.

2. How does you ensure the quality of my parts?

Upon confirmation of your order, a detailed Design for Manufacturing (DFM) review is carried out

to identify any potential issues affecting part quality.

All incoming materials are meticulously inspected and verified using a suite of testing equipment.

Final inspection reports are generated as part of our pre-shipment quality check.

Furthermore, we offer the option to share inspection data in real-time, enabling collaborative efforts

to address any quality concerns that may emerge during production.

3. What type of surface finishes does provide?

We provide an extensive selection of finishing services to achieve the desired look and feel for your

parts. Our offerings include treatments for metal, texturing for plastic injection mold tools, painting

for both metal and plastic, and various other options. Explore our blog to learn how to specify the

surface texture you want.
