Custom Precision CNC Milling Parts Part CNC OEM Aluminum CNC Machining Service

CNC, an acronym for computer numerical control, defines the technology behind CNC machining,

where various machining processes are directed and controlled by a computer.

This computerized automation facilitates the production of parts with increased speed, accuracy,

precision, and the ability to achieve more complex geometries compared to manual machining

methods.

Additionally, CNC machining reduces the need for labor-intensive manual machining tasks that

would otherwise be carried out by humans. Although individuals are not physically machining each

part, their role is crucial in programming and operating the CNC machines, ensuring the seamless

execution of every operation.

Applications of CNC Aluminum Parts

CNC machining, as a versatile subtractive manufacturing method, plays a vital role across diverse

industries. Here are some key sectors where CNC machining is heavily utilized:

1. Aerospace: The aerospace industry relies on CNC machining to produce intricate and

high-precision components for aircraft and spacecraft, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

2. Automotive: CNC machining is integral to the automotive sector for crafting precise components,

contributing to the efficiency and reliability of vehicles.

3. Aviation: Similar to aerospace, the aviation industry benefits from CNC machining's precision in

manufacturing components that meet stringent safety and performance standards for aircraft.

4. Transportation: The broader transportation industry, including rail and maritime sectors, employs

CNC machining to fabricate robust and precise components that withstand challenging operational

conditions.

These industries showcase the widespread adoption of CNC machining, highlighting its indispensable

role in manufacturing processes where accuracy, consistency, and intricate detailing are essential.

Company Profile

FAQ's

1. What formats of the files can you accept?

We can accept most of the 3D file formats like SolidWorks (.sldprt)/ ProE(.prt) / IGES(.igs) /

STEP (.stp). We can also use 2D drawing (.pdf) or AutoCAD (.dwg) for quote against the parts

with simple structure. All the other files formats are not listed above but can be read in

AutoCAD/ProE/SolidWorks/ will be also fine for us.

2. What cosmetic standards do you guarantee?

Our commitment to quality includes standard deburring and edge-breaking procedures for all CNC

machined parts. Any critical edges requiring a sharp finish must be explicitly indicated in technical

drawings. Surfaces are guaranteed to be free of defects such as scratches, dents, stains, blemishes,

hanging marks, and minor imperfections.

Critical surfaces (primary (a) side, as specified in technical drawings) will be void of mill steps and

other marks. For the secondary (b) side, minor hanging marks and up to 2 minor defects are deemed

acceptable.

To enhance surface roughness, visual properties, and wear resistance, various post-processing and

finishing methods can be applied to CNC machined parts.

3. How much does CNC machining cost?

The cost of CNC machining is influenced by factors such as complexity, quantity, and lead time.

To obtain an accurate quote, we encourage you to submit a 3D CAD model, allowing us to provide

an interactive quote with design for manufacturability (DFM) feedback.

Leveraging proprietary software and automated fixturing processes, we eliminate upfront

non-recurring engineering (NRE) costs. This makes CNC machining cost-effective for quantities

as low as 1 to 200 parts. While prices may compare similarly or slightly higher than 3D printing,

CNC machining offers superior material properties and surface finishes.

4. How does compare to other suppliers on price?

While direct comparisons can be challenging, generally, We offers prices that are typically 25-45%

lower for plastic injection mold tools and CNC machined/turned parts when compared to suppliers in

North America and Europe.
