Product introduction
The surge protector is a lightning protection measure
adopted by Zhejiang toer Electric Co., Ltd. for the electrical
system. The product is a surge protector for the plug type
low-voltage distribution system, including the replaceable
components. The voltage limiting element is composed of a metal
oxide varistor. Each varistor requires an independent disconnector.
The principle of the disconnector is a heat release. The function
is disconnected through the low temperature welding point and is
separated from the metal rod by its own elastic action. After
disengagement, the red indication will appear in the transparent
window on the front side of the surge protector.
Product Installation
With 35mm standard DIN-rail mounting, connecting copper stranded conductor is 2.5~35mm²
At front of spd each pole must be setted protection---used fuse or miniature circuit breaker lightning current SPD protection,after SPD breakdown to short circuit protection.
SPD install on protected line(equipment) to the front and connected to the supply line. A class products install in the building home-entry line hold larger surge current total distribution box. B, C class products most install on the floor distribution box, D class products close to the front-end equipment that smaller surge current, smaller residual voltage place.

Working principle of product
When the surge protector has no voltage, the impedance is
very high, which means that the circuit breaker is open. When the
voltage occurs, the impedance drops to a few Europe, and the surge
current will flow through the surge protector and will not enter
the device. At the same time, because the surge protector has a
small impedance at this time, the voltage on both sides of the
surge is relatively small, and because he is in parallel with the
protected equipment, it prevents the equipment from suffering from
large surge power. Pressure, so as to play the effect of discharge
and pressure limiting.
Use of attention
1. identify the input / output interface identifier of the
lightning protector, input the external line and output the
connection device.
2. it should match the working voltage of the protected
equipment. Please install according to the installation sketch.
3. in order to limit the inductive coupling between the
protected part after installation and the part of the unprotected
equipment, we need to make some measurements. The mutual inductance
can be reduced by the separation of the inductive source and the
sacrificial circuit, the selection of the loop angle and the
limitation of the closed loop area.
