For this compostable pouch, we use brown kraft paper/PLA. PLA is 100% compostable film, which is a biodegradable polymer made from renewable resources such as corn starch or sugar cane. We also add PLA zipper on this pouch.
What's more, to make a perfect printing surface, we use CTP printing on this kraft paper pouch. As you can see from the products picture, the printing is very good, colorful. even better than our digital printing.

Compostable packaging is made of some kind of organic matter that can break down. There are multiple types of compostable packaging materials, from traditional cardboard and paper to bioplastics. Some packaging can be composted at home, but some has to be composted industrially.
