The difference between bearing SKF 6205 and 6205 2RS1
1. The former has no sealing ring, while the latter has a nitrile
rubber (NBR) contact sealing ring with a steel skeleton on both
sides.
2. 6 in 6205 indicates that the bearing is a deep groove ball
bearing; 2 is the diameter series of the bearing; 05 indicates that
the inner diameter of the bearing is 25mm (code multiplied by 5).
3. The suffix 2rs1 indicates the nitrile rubber (NBR) contact seal
with steel frame on both sides of the bearing.
4. Deep groove ball bearing: It is the most common type in rolling
bearings.
