The resin coated photo paper become more and more popular in inkjet
printing media now.
It has 5 surfaces: glossy,luster, satin,rough satin and woven, each
finish can used for different uses.
As for luster RC paper paper:
Luster finish is halfway between glossy and matte
It is a light coating that provides a boost to the contrast of your
photos, but results in very little glare.
The luster coating did not provide much glare when the photo was taken, almost the same effect as the uncoated paper.
Provides a smoother presentation than an uncoated sheet, and softer than the appearance of a glossy sheet.
