What is the PCB used for?

What are the Characteristics of printed Circuit boards?
PCB aluminum substrate is composed of circuit layer, thermal
insulation layer and metal base layer; Circuit layer (that is,
copper foil) is usually etched to form a printed circuit, so that
each component of the component is connected to each other. In
general, the circuit layer requires a great current carrying
capacity, so that thicker copper foil should be used, the thickness
is generally 35μm~280μm;
Thermal insulation layer is the core technology of PCB aluminum
substrate, it is generally made of special ceramic filled with
special polymer, small thermal resistance, excellent viscoelastic
properties, thermal aging resistance, can withstand mechanical and
thermal stress. Ims-h01, IMS-H02, LED-0601 and other high
performance PCB aluminum substrate thermal insulation layer is the
use of this technology, so that it has excellent thermal
conductivity and high strength electrical insulation performance;
The metal base is the support component of the aluminum base plate,
which requires high thermal conductivity. Generally, it is aluminum
plate, but also can use copper plate (which can provide better
thermal conductivity). It is suitable for drilling, punching and
cutting and other conventional mechanical processing. Compared with
other materials, PCB materials have incomparable advantages.
Suitable for power module surface mount SMT. No heat sink, greatly
reduced volume, excellent heat dissipation effect, good insulation
and mechanical properties.
