Why do the electrode plates of defibrillators need to be coated
with conductive paste or padded with wet gauze?
Answer: In order for the electric defibrillation current to be
fully transmitted into the patient's body and to avoid burning the
chest skin.
2. What arrhythmias are synchronous and asynchronous
electroconversion used for?
Answer: Synchronous defibrillation is used for rapid arrhythmias
other than ventricular fibrillation, while asynchronous
defibrillation is only used for ventricular fibrillation.
3. What is the difference between synchronous and asynchronous
electric complex laws?
Answer: Synchronous electroconversion refers to the synchronization
of the discharge current with the R wave during ventricular
depolarization. The stimulation generated by the current coincides
with the absolute refractory period of ventricular muscle cells,
thereby avoiding discharge during the vulnerable period of
ventricular muscle and causing ventricular fibrillation. It is
mainly used for rapid arrhythmias other than ventricular
fibrillation. Non synchronous electroconversion can discharge at
any time and is mainly used for ventricular fibrillation.
4. If the patient experiences sudden cardiac arrest and cannot
undergo electrocardiogram examination on site, can electric shock
defibrillation be performed directly?
Answer: Yes, in emergency treatment for sudden cardiac arrest, in
order to save time for early recovery, blind defibrillation can be
performed without timely electrocardiography.
5. What should be done when the heart turns into fine tremors after
defibrillation?
Answer: When transitioning from coarse tremor to fine tremor, one
should adhere to chest compressions and use emergency medication.
First, administer 1mg of adrenaline intravenously, repeating every
3-5 minutes to convert fine tremor to coarse wave, and then perform
defibrillation again.
Defibrillator maintenance
1. Position and keep dry;
2. Check at least once a week to ensure that the performance is intact;
3. Send faults for repair in time;
4. Wipe clean in time after use;
5. Timely register the use, inspection and repair status;
6. Unless there are special circumstances, loans are generally not allowed.
