Custom plate shape and spacer 316L chevron demister mist eliminator
1. Chevron demister mist eliminator design,
The design of the demister shall be convenient for fixing and disassembling the internal components during maintenance.
The mist eliminator system shall be equipped with flushing and drainage devices, and the drainage shall directly enter the absorption tower. The flushing system shall at least include nozzles and internal pipes for easy replacement.
The flushing water system of mist eliminator shall be able to flush the mist eliminator completely to avoid blockage of mist eliminator. The spray range adjacent to the nozzle is partially overlapped to ensure 100% flushing effect.
The mist eliminator shall be able to withstand the flue gas velocity relative to the average velocity in the flow section ± 25%. In the future, we can provide the curve of the liquid holdup of the flue gas at the outlet of the demister under different flow rates.

2. 316L chevron demister mist eliminator application:
Chevron plate demister is mainly used for flue gas desulfurization and separation of droplets in waste gas. It has the advantages of simple structure, high capture efficiency for medium size and large size droplets, low pressure drop, easy flushing, open structure, easy maintenance and low cost.
Mainly there are two types of plates, 2 pass type (170mm net height and 200mm total height with frame), 3 pass type (230mm net height and 250mm total height with framesm). The shape and size of mist eliminator can both be customized as per order. Square shape, round shape, etc.
The 3 pass type has higher de-misting efficiency. It is always used in less solid fouling circumstances because of a little harder washing than 2 pass type.
3. 316L chevron demister mist eliminator working principle:
when the gas containing mist flows through the demister at a certain speed, because of the inertial impact of the gas, the mist and wave plate collide and are attached to the wave plate surface. The diffusion of the mist on the surface of the corrugated plate and the gravity settlement of the mist cause the mist to form large droplets and move forward with the air flow to the turning of the corrugated plate. Because of the centrifugal force of the steering and its friction with the corrugated plate, the adsorption and the surface tension of the liquid, the droplets become larger and larger until the concentrated droplets are larger than the gravity generated by themselves, which exceeds the lifting force of the gas and the surface tension of the liquid. When the force is applied, the droplets are separated from the surface of the wave plate. The multi fold structure of the wave plate of the mist eliminator increases the chance of catching and gathering the mist, and the undeleted mist will catch and gather at the next turn through the same function, so it will work repeatedly, thus greatly improving the efficiency of mist eliminator. After the gas passes through the chevron mist eliminator, there is basically no mist.
4. 316L chevron demister mist eliminator quality assurance,
The main parts of each demister shall be inspected and tested according to the requirements of drawings and technical documents to ensure that the design and structure meet the requirements of this specification.
The factory provides quality guarantee for all materials and parts. The chemical composition, mechanical properties and internal quality of the materials used must comply with the provisions of the drawings and technical documents, and the corrosion resistance shall be fully considered.
The factory shall provide quality documents and technical documents related to quality assurance at the same time of delivery. These documents include at least:
Product inspection certificate;
Material test certificate of main parts and components;
Material test report of main parts and components;
The results of the experiments were analyzed;
Quality control plan;
Quality inspection plan;
Installation, use and maintenance manual;
