Working principle of medium frequency melting furnace is such a circuit which utilizes a three-phase bridge fully controlled rectifier circuit to convert alternating current into direct current, then a single-phase inverter bridge is applied to invert the direct current into a single-phase medium frequency current with a certain frequency (usually 1000 to 8000Hz).

Characteristics of medium frequency power supply:

• The control system is fully digital. Calculation and processing of various signals and execution of all actions are automatically carried out according to the set program.
• Replacing sub -relay control circuits with digital control system ,thus avoiding equipment failures caused by poor contact of relay, most of all, this can  greatly improve performance.
