Geometric pitch (H)

 

When the angle of attack of the blade profile is zero, the distance the blade travels through one revolution. It is customary to use the geometric pitch at 70% of the diameter as the name value. Propellers can be ordered according to diameter and pitch abroad. For example, 64/34, it means that the diameter of the propeller is 60 inches and the geometric pitch is 34 inches.
