The boards used for building decoration mainly include gypsum board, density board, calcium silicate board, cement board, stone, and various metal plates, which have advantages and disadvantages in terms of performance and price. The advantages of cement board mainly lie in:
1. The biggest disadvantage of gypsum board is that it is not
waterproof. The physical properties of cement board, such as
waterproof, moisture-proof, moisture-proof and impact resistance,
are also far better than gypsum board.
2. The biggest disadvantage of density board is that it does not
fire. Cement board is a non-combustible material, and its sound
insulation effect is far better than density board.
3. The appearance and shape of calcium silicate board are very
similar to that of cement board, but calcium silicate board is a
chemical product, which is the result of chemical reaction of
siliceous and calcium under high temperature. Therefore,
enterprises producing calcium silicate board have autoclaves.
Calcium silicate board can also be divided into asbestos-free and
asbestos-free, and asbestos-free board is available for three or
four yuan per millimeter. The density, bending resistance, impact
resistance and sound insulation of calcium silicate board are lower
than those of cement board, so many businesses in the market use
calcium silicate board as fiber cement pressure board to deceive
users.
4. Compared with stone, cement plate is mainly price advantage and continuous supply capacity. For other plates such as aluminum-plastic plate, besides price advantage, it has advantages of high corrosion resistance and long service life.
