circuit boards in applications. Most rigid-flex PCB boards include
flexible circuit substrates of different layers, and these flexible
circuit substrates are additionally attached to at least one rigid
board at a remote location, depending on the design of the
application. The flexible substrate is intended to be in a stable
state of bending, and is usually formed as a bent bend during
assembly or installation.
