Long-Lasting in Nature
Last but not the least, LED PCBs are long-lasting in nature.
While this is once again use-dependent rather than an absolute, they do last longer than traditional or otherwise legacy technological systems.
There are several reasons for this, one of the most important being the construction. Traditional circuits were made from wires, which were prone to snapping and other kinds of breakage. It was in fact this aspect of early technologies, which made them unreliable.
LED PCBs on the other hand, don’t have this problem for the simple reason that the circuits are printed onto the board, rather than wires connected at the edges.
Indeed, the same construction design of the board also applies to the LEDs. Given that LEDs are essentially made up of a few components in a fairly solid form of construction, even this aspect of the technology is relatively rugged and durable.
This, in turn, provides a wide range of benefits, which range from the lack of frequent maintenance to overall cost savings, and the resulting increase of reliability.
