Lab Grown HPHT CVD  Diamonds Description

CVD is an acronym for chemical vapour deposition and HPHT is an acronym of High Pressure High Temperature.Laboratory diamonds are generally produced by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) or high pressure and high temperature (HPHT) processes and are of similar quality to natural diamonds.

High temperature and high pressure method (HTHP) uses graphite as raw material and introduces appropriate metal catalysts, such as Fe, Co, Ni, Mn, Cr, etc. diamond can be synthesized at temperatures above 2000K and tens of thousands of atmospheres.

Chemical vapor deposition (CVD) is a method of decomposing raw materials at high temperature to produce active particles such as carbon atoms or methyl groups, and depositing and growing diamond films on the substrate (substrate) under certain process conditions.Laboratory diamond can be produced by using HPHT and CVD technology through laboratory diamond forming machine. However, due to the different machines and technologies used in the production of diamonds by high temperature and high pressure and chemical vapor deposition, diamonds produced by high temperature and high pressure and chemical vapor deposition can be distinguished from diamonds produced in the laboratory.

However, gem grade diamonds produced in the laboratory can now be produced under natural conditions. The production of natural diamonds can be simulated in the laboratory within a few weeks using high temperature and high pressure (HPHT) or chemical vapor deposition (CVD) technology.

Characteristics Of Lab Grown HPHT CVD Diamonds

Diamonds are grown in a laboratory. People with advanced equipment to simulate the natural diamond formation of the environment. Laboratory diamonds are usually produced in a laboratory for several weeks. Natural diamonds are created by nature, is the result of the billions of years of high temperature and high pressure. The chemical differences between the two is the same.

So how to distinguish between laboratory diamonds and natural diamonds?

There is no significant difference between laboratory cultured diamonds and natural diamonds. Even professional gemologists need special equipment to identify them. The slight difference between the growth of diamond and that of professional personnel can be amplified in the laboratory.

There is no significant difference between laboratory cultured diamonds and natural diamonds. Even professional gemologists need special equipment to identify them. By zooming in, professionals will be able to distinguish the subtle contrast between diamond inclusions grown and mined in the laboratory.

In the past decade, synthetic diamond has received wide attention because it allows many new applications of diamond. Lab-grown diamond is an environmentally friendly product with pollution-free technology and no environmental pollution.

From a scientific point of view, synthetic diamond and natural diamond are exactly the same. The only difference is that they are formed in different positions.
