ECE R118 concerns the burning behaviour of materials used in the interior construction of certain categories of Motor Vehicles.

It includes 5 test equipment as below:

1.Test to determine the horizontal burning rate of materials

2.Test to determine the melting behaviour of materials
3.Test to determine the vertical burning rate of materials
4.Test to determine the capability of materials to repel fuel or lubricant
5.Test to determine the resistance to flame propagation of electrical cables

 


Interior Materials Flammability Tester (Touch Screen)

This tester is designed and manufactured according to ISO3795 standards specified in the relevant clauses. Apply to identify vehicles (cars, multipurpose passenger car, truck and bus) interior material horizontal burning test. Car inner decorations combustion tester is composed of test part and control part adopts the integrated design, convenient installation and debugging. Material Melting Characteristics Tester

 

Introduction

This instrument meets international standards NF P92-505, EU 95/28/EC, ECE technical specifications and requirements of R118 Annex 7 of these Regulations. According to NF P 92-505 request, the test is additional for M-class building materials. It is suitable for hot melt material effect in the primary heat source to evaluate the performance of dripping and burning performance testing. Flexible and thin materials can also be tested.

Introduction

This equipment is designed and manufactured according to the test requirements of QC / T 730-2005 and ECE R118 Annex 10 automotive electrical cable burning test.
