Product Overview
The Cu-OilTool-Joint is a high-performance joint for petroleum drilling tools, manufactured from Beryllium Copper Alloy C17200. This alloy is widely used in the oil and gas industry due to its high strength, corrosion resistance, hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) resistance, and excellent machinability.
 
Material Properties
Material Composition: Beryllium Copper Alloy C17200, containing 1.8% - 2.0% beryllium, along with small amounts of cobalt and nickel.
High Strength: Tensile strength ranges from 1130 - 1520 MPa, 0.2% yield strength is 890 - 1380 MPa, and hardness ranges from 340 - 450 HV.
Corrosion Resistance: Excellent resistance to seawater, non-oxidizing acids, dilute alkalis, and organic solutions, in compliance with NACE MR0175 standards for H₂S environments.
Anti-galling and Wear Resistance: Demonstrates excellent anti-galling properties against itself and other materials under high load conditions, and good wear resistance even with insufficient lubrication.
Non-magnetic: The alloy has a very low magnetic permeability (<1.001), making it suitable for applications requiring non-magnetic materials.
 
Applications
Petroleum Drilling: Used for manufacturing drill pipe joints, drill collars, and other drilling tool connections, capable of withstanding high pressures and high torque.
Oil and Gas Extraction: Suitable for various tools and equipment in oil and gas wells, such as drill collars, drill pipes, drill bits, and measurement tools.
Marine Engineering: Due to its corrosion resistance, it is also applicable to oil and gas equipment in marine environments.

Machinability: C17200 alloy has excellent machinability, suitable for turning, milling, drilling, and other machining processes.
