LSW-120 120kw Electric IGBT Induction Quenching Hardening Machine
1. Induction heating equipment is mainly used in the field of heat
treatment and quenching::1. High-frequency quenching heat treatment of hardware tools, such
as; vice, hammer, strong pliers, wrench.
2. High-frequency quenching heat treatment for various automobile
and motorcycle parts, such as: crankshaft, connecting rod, piston
pin, camshaft, valve, various gears in the gearbox, various forks,
various spline shafts, transmission half shafts , Various small
shafts, crank pins, various rocker arms, rocker arm shafts and
other high-frequency quenching heat treatment.
3. Hydraulic components, such as: the plunger of the plunger pump,
the rotor of the rotor pump, the reversing shaft on various valves,
the gear of the gear pump, etc. High-frequency quenching heat
treatment.
4. High-frequency quenching heat treatment of various power tool
gears and shafts.
5. Various woodworking tools, such as: axes, planers and other heat
treatment.
6. Plane quenching, dovetail quenching and tool quenching of
various machine tool guide rails.
7. All kinds of stainless steel tableware and kitchen utensils are
annealed and crimped.
Compared with ordinary heat quenching,It has the following advantages:
1. The heating speed is extremely fast, which can expand the
transformation temperature range of the A body and shorten the
transformation time.
2. After quenching, the surface layer of the workpiece can obtain
extremely fine cryptocrystalline martensite, and the hardness is
slightly higher (2-3HRC). Lower brittleness and higher fatigue
strength.
3. The workpieces treated by this process are not easy to be
oxidized and decarburized, and even some workpieces can be directly
assembled and used after treatment.
4. The hardened layer is deep, easy to control and operate, easy to
realize mechanization and automation.

3. Induction Quenching Hardening Machine Application:
Quenching equipment is mainly used for heat treatment of mechanical
parts; such as quenching of various gears, sprockets, various
shafts, pins, etc.
(1) For auto parts and motorcycle parts hardening.
(2) For machinery parts, like gears, transmission wheels, axles,
shafts, spline shafts, ball stud hardening.
(3) For machine tools quenching, like guide rail machine tools
hardening.
(4) For spanner, pliers, CNC machines, hammer, axe hardening etc.
What is the purpose of high frequency quenching machine?
The main purpose is to improve the wear resistance of the metal
surface. After quenching, the wear resistance is increased by 2-3
times and the service life of the workpiece is improved.
Selection of heating frequency:
The relationship between the depth δ (mm) of the induced current
flowing into the surface layer of the workpiece at room temperature
and the current frequency f (HZ) is: the frequency increases, the
current penetration depth decreases, and the hardened layer
decreases.
Commonly used current frequencies are:
1. High frequency heating: 100~500KHZ, commonly used 200~300KHZ, it
is a tube type high frequency heating, the hardened layer depth is
0.5~2.5mm, suitable for small and medium-sized parts.
2. Intermediate frequency heating: the current frequency is
500~10000HZ, commonly used 2500~8000HZ, and the power supply
equipment is a mechanical intermediate frequency heating device or
a thyristor intermediate frequency generator. The depth of the
hardened layer is 2 to 10 mm. Suitable for larger diameter shafts,
medium and large gears, etc.
3. Power frequency heating: the current frequency is 50HZ. Using
mechanical power frequency heating power supply equipment, the
hardened layer depth can reach 10-20mm, which is suitable for
surface quenching of large-diameter workpieces.
