Points of ITI Straumann Bone level UCLA All-Plastic Castable Abutment:
Gold abutments (Fig.10, UCLA) are fabricated with a machined gold
indexing interface and a nylon tube processed on to the gold
portion. Only a indexed version is available to manufacture custom
abutments or single screw retained crowns. Screws are included with
each abutment purchased as a kit. The screws are color coded purple
for easy platform group identification and are not universally
interchangeable from abutment type to abutment type or platform
group to platform group. Each titanium abutment is marked with the
capital letters NC.
Gold abutments (Fig.14, UCLA, Ceramicor®, Cendres & Métaux SA) are fabricated with a machined gold indexing interface and a nylon tube processed on to the gold portion. Indexed and non indexed versions are available to manufacture custom abutments, single screw retained crowns, screw retained bridges and bar substructures. Screws are included with each abutment purchased as a kit. The screws are color coded purple for easy platform group identification and are not universally interchangeable from abutment type to abutment type or platform group to platform group. Each titanium abutment is marked with the capital letters RC.
