The BT818 supports a 4-wire resistive touch screen while the BT817 supports a capacitive touch screen with up to 5 touchpoint detection.
The BT817/8 Advanced Embedded Video Engine (EVE) offers high-resolution graphics and video playback that allows users with little expertise to create high-quality displays. The BT817/8 EVE supports I/O voltage from 1.8V to 3.3V, and an internal voltage regulator supplies 1.2V to the digital core.
The Bridgetek BT817/8 Advanced Embedded Video Engines are available in a compact Pb-free, VQFN-64 package and has an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
