Product introduction:


HCY Saliva Collection Kit is user-friendly designed for donor’s DNA/RNA sample self-collection at home, which is an all-in-one systemfor collection, stabilization, transportation, and storage of RNA from saliva sample. This product collects saliva samples secreted from the oral cavity through the collection tube, and evenly mixes the collected saliva with the transport medium, ensuring the integrity of the DNA/RNA in the saliva sample.

Collection principle:


This product collects saliva samples secreted from the oral cavity through the collection tube, and evenly mixes the collected saliva with the saliva preservation solution, ensuring the integrity of the DNA in the saliva sample and its long-term storage at room temperature.

 

product instructions:


①. Relax your cheeks and knead gently for 30 seconds to produce saliva;


②. Gently spit about 2ml of saliva into the saliva collection funnel;


③. Pay attention to avoid excessive foam when collecting saliva (the upper foam is not included);


④. Open the DNA storage solution tube and unscrew the cap;


⑤ Pour the DNA preservation solution into the saliva collector, and confirm that the layered interface between the liquid in the sample collection and the upper foam reaches the scale line shown in 4ml;


⑥ Unscrew the collection funnel from the screw mouth of the saliva collection device, and remove the funnel (remember to dispose of the waste after use to avoid contact and pollution);


⑦. Tighten the cap of the tube on the sample collection tube, and mix the liquid in the tube upside down, so that the DNA preservation solution and the saliva sample are fully mixed to complete the sample collection work.
