Mullite Insulation Brick is a kind of quality refractory insulation materials for resisting high temperature with features of light weight, low thermal conductivity, thermal insulation and high compression strength in the high temperature furnaces or kilns. Mullite Insulation Bricks are mainly used for the top of hot blast stove, stack and bottom of blast furnace, regenerative chamber of glass melting furnace, lining of ceramic high temperature furnace and so on.
Description for Mullite Insulation Brick
Mullite Insulation Brick is manufactured with mullite as the main
crystal phase and contains about 65~75% alumina content. Mullite
Insulation Refractory Brick has high refractoriness that
reaches up to 1790 ℃. Its apparent initial softening temperature is
about 1600~1700 ℃. Its cold crushing strength is about 70~260MPa.
Mullite Insulation Refractory Brick can be classified into
different types of 1350 Mullite Insulation Brick, 1450 Mullite
Insulation Brick and 1550 Mullite Insulation Brick according to
different service temperature and into Lightweight Mullite
Brick and Heavy Mullite Brick according to different bulk
density.
Mullite Insulation Brick Properties
Mullite Insulation Brick is a kind of quality high temperature
materials with the following excellent performance:
Low thermal conductivity and Low heat capacity
High Purity and low impurity content
Excellent high temperature strength
Good thermal shock resistance
Low expansive conductivity
Great resistance to acid and alkali erosion
Mullite Insulation Brick Application
Mullite Insulation B rick is suitable for hot-face lining and
backing of all kinds of industrial furnace in metallurgy industry,
petrochemical industry, ceramic industry, machinery industry and
building materials industry, such as cracking furnace, conversion
furnace, heating equipment, refine equipment, regenerative
apparatus, hot blast stove, soaking pit furnace, thermal treatment
furnace, resistance furnace, tunnel kiln, roller kiln, bell kiln,
glass melting furnace and so on.
