1. General
1.1 Model
GW4-145/1250, 2000 outdoor high voltage disconnector
1.2 Function
Type GW4-145 disconnector is used to switch for the high-voltage line under off-load circumstance, as well as electric isolation between electric equipment as high voltage busbar, circuit breaker being maintained. It provides visible insulation distance in accordance with safety requirement.
1.3 Operation mechanism and model
Each disconnector equips one CJ6B motor drive mechanism or CS17 manual mechanism. For single earthing switch, it should be equipped one CS17 manual mechanism and for double earthing switch, it should be equipped two CS17.
1.4 The products are widely applied to 145kV substation depends on its simple structure, convenient installation and reliable running.

2.3 Wind pressure: ≤700Pa.

4. Category
The product can be categorized into three types:
Without earthing, single earthing (left earthing or right earthing) and double earthing
Structure and operation principal:
GW4 series disconnectors are characterized by horizontal rotary, making and breaking, two-pole; it mainly consists of supporting base, rotary insulator, conducting components and operation mechanism. The insulators on the both ends of each pole are fitted on the bearing support of supporting base; inside the bearing support is rolling bearing, which is flexible and light to be operated. There are fixed and moving contacts and in-and-out outlets. The operation mechanism will turn one insulator an angle of 90°, another insulator of same phase will be reversely driven by cross linking rod at an angle of 90°, thus the disconnector will open or close towards one direction, the linking rod on each pole of the other two ones will make or break after its linkage. An interlocking device is equipped between the main switch and earthing switch to guarantee only one of both switches can make or break when another one acts effectively.
According to customers, the manual mechanism can be affiliated with electromagnetic lock to realize the interlocking among the main switch, earthing switch and breaker; therefore, thus preventing the incorrect operation from occurring, meanwhile, motor drive mechanism also can be used together with this switch..
Major features:
1. The supporting and revolving plate of porcelain insulator adopts the precise casting technique to take place of the usual welding technique, improving the ability of corrosion-resistance, strength and shape.

2. The base frame and bearing support: the base frame, made of shape steel, is connected with bearing support by assembling method; the surface of base frame adopts hot galvanizing technique to improve the corrosion resistance. Excellent sealing performance of bearing support with superior lubrication oil filled inside it, with which it can maintain flexility for the long time when it turns, and even will not be blocked due to rust.

5. Terminal block adopts flexible connection instead of previous roller movement, thus, improve reliability of the whole switch.

7. Adopt the connection of lathe dog between main switch and mechanism, they are easily operated and not in need of welding on site.
