Induction melting is an effective and energy-efficient way to rapidly increase the temperature of a metal or ore to its melting point and maintain that level for subsequent metallurgical processes. Through a coil with alternating electric current, the container or chamber of metal creates eddy currents which then produce high temperatures for melting. By changing and adjusting the coil geometry, frequency, and power, induction melting furnaces can accommodate charges of various sizes, from the volume of a coffee mug to hundreds of tons of molten metal. Additionally, our company is able to process a wide array of metals and materials such as iron, steel, and stainless steel alloys, copper and copper-based alloys, aluminum, and silicon with custom-designed induction equipment tailored to each individual application in order to maximize its efficiency.

 

Features:


VS resistance heated furnace:

It has high heat efficiency and can melt fast, also has a small size to save energy by 30%. However, the resistance or silicon carbide stock would be easy to damage.

 

VS Coal, Gas , diesel furnace:

The bubbles of the foundry would be reduced to 1/3 to 1/4, reject rate would go down 1/2 to 2/3, so that the cast would have a higher mechanical strength. It could also reduce the oxidation of burning, and reduce environmental pollution. The noise is far lower than the towering equipment. In addition, the labor intensity of workers and working conditions have been improved. The Cast-iron crucible used in Coal and gas furnaces is harmful to the aluminum alloy by increasing impurity while the graphite crucible is used in induction melting which does not have such disadvantages.

 

VS SCR or Frequency Melting Furnace:

It too has high heat efficiency and melting speed. Plus, it has a small size to save energy above 20%. The electromagnetic stirring effect is slight, which could extend the service life of the crucible. By adjusting the frequency to achieve power regulation, the melting speed is fast, and the burning loss of material elements is less, thus having a better energy saving. It is extremely suitable to melt stainless steel, copper, silicon, aluminum, and other non-magnetic materials, thus reducing the cost of the casting.

If such equipment as 70KW melting aluminum is concerned, the cost of melting is 70% of the resistance melting furnace; 70% of frequency melting furnace; 60% of diesel melting furnace; and 80% of SCR melting furnace.
