Industrial Laser Welding Machine HW-D Diode Laser
Laser soldering technology uses a precisely focused laser beam spot to irradiate the solder pad area. After absorbing laser energy, the solder pad area rapidly heats up to melt the solder, and then stops laser irradiation to cool and solidify the solder, forming solder joints. Due to only local heating of the solder pad area, the rest of the entire component is almost unaffected by heat, and the laser irradiation time during welding is usually only a few hundred milliseconds. Non contact welding has no mechanical stress effect on the welding pad, resulting in higher space utilization.
Laser soldering uses a semiconductor laser, which operates through an excitation method. The semiconductor material (i.e., electrons) is used to transition between energy bands and emit light. Two parallel reflective mirrors are formed using the cleavage surface of the semiconductor crystal as reflecting mirrors, forming a resonant cavity to oscillate and feedback light, generating radiation amplification of light and outputting laser. The stability of laser output energy and the algorithm of power control have a direct impact on welding quality.
