Description Of Cisco QSFP-100G-PSM4-S Compatible Optical Fiber Transceiver
This Cisco QSFP-100G-PSM4-S compatible optical fiber transceiver is a parallel 103.1Gbps Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable QSFP28 module for use in 100GBASE Ethernet.
It offers 4 independent transmit and receive channels, each capable of 25Gb/s operation in a nominal wavelength of 1310nm for an aggregate data rate of 100Gb/s, supports 500 meters optical link over parallel G.652 single-mode fiber.
This transceiver is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3bm 100GBASE-PSM4 standard. Digital diagnostic functions are also available via an I2C interface (TWI/I2C), as specified by the QSFP28 MSA.
This 100GBASE PSM4-S optical transceiver is factory pre-programmed with all the necessary configuration data for seamless network integration and performs identically to genuine Cisco QSFP-100G-PSM4-S transceivers, excellent interoperation with Cisco QSFP28 port optical transport devices.
