The Cisco QSFP-100G-4WDM-S Compatible optical transceiver Module is designed for use in 100GBASE Ethernet throughput to 10km over dual-strand single-mode fiber (SMF) via duplex LC connector.
The 100G CWDM4 module converts 4 input channels of 25.78Gb/s electrical data to 4 channels of CWDM4 optical signals and then multiplexes them into a single channel for 100Gb/s optical transmission. Reversely on the receiver side, the module demultiplexes a 100Gb/s optical input into 4 channels of CWDM4 optical signals and then converts them to 4 output channels of electrical data.
This 100G CWDM4 transceiver is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3ba, IEEE 802.3bm, 100G CWDM4 MSA, SFF-8665, SFF-8636 and ITU-T G.694.2 standards. With these features, it is suitable to be used in various applications, such as 100G Ethernet switches, routers, and client-side telecom interfaces.
This 100GBASE CWDM4 optical transceiver is factory pre-programmed with all the necessary configuration data for seamless network integration and performs identically to genuine Cisco QSFP-100G-4WDM-S transceivers, excellent interoperation with Cisco QSFP28 port optical transport devices.
