ENT Tonsillectomy Coblation Wand Compatible with Arthrocare CoblatorII

Plasma wand DQG-E4630-A130 is specifically designed for medical procedures such as Tonsillectomy, Adenoidectomy, CAUP, UPPP, and nasal cavity lesion treatment. It features a thinner diameter, making it more convenient for use on children. It has two separate channels for liquid entry and exit, preventing blockages in the cutter head. Additionally, the cutter head electrode surface is plated with a special metal to increase its durability. The device is capable of cutting, ablating, hemostasis, and coagulation, making it a versatile tool for a range of medical procedures.

Product Advanatages

The wand boasts several safety features, including the fact that current does not flow through the human body during use, and the working surface temperature remains between 40°C to 70°C, resulting in less thermal damage to surrounding tissue. When used within the recommended energy range, cutting and ablation depth can be controlled to ≤50μm.

In addition to its safety benefits, it is also minimally invasive. Its reduced heat output results in less tissue thermal damage, which in turn leads to faster wound healing, reduced bleeding during and after surgery, and minimized scarring.

The high efficiency is evidenced by a reduction in patient pain during surgery, as well as a significant decrease in postoperative inflammation. During surgery, the device can effectively stop bleeding while cutting, eliminating the need for additional hemostasis tools. Overall, it offers several benefits over traditional surgical methods such as electrosurgical units and lasers, making it a valuable tool in the medical field.

Cutting Principle

Relying on the mechanical kinetic energy of the plasma in the electric field, it hits the molecular bonds (40-70 ° C) of the target tissue to lyse and ablate. The thermal damage depth is less than 0.5mm, and the trauma to normal adjacent tissues is small.

Applications

Tonsillectomy, Adenoidectomy, CAUP, UPPP and the soft tissue at narrow spaces like nasal cavity.

Storage Condition

Correct storage of coblation wands is important to maintain their effectiveness and prolong their lifespan. It is recommended to store the wands in an environment with humidity levels below 80%, as excessive moisture can cause damage to the wand's components.

Additionally, the storage area should be free of corrosive gases that could potentially damage the wand's electrodes. It is also important to ensure that the room is well-ventilated, to prevent the buildup of harmful gases.

When storing the wands, complete protection of the electrodes is essential to prevent damage or contamination. This can be achieved by placing the wands in a protective case or pouch designed specifically for coblation wands.

Proper storage and handling of coblation wands can help ensure their longevity and optimal performance, ultimately contributing to safer and more effective medical procedures.
