Products: 20CrMnTi spiral bevel gear carburizing and quenching ground helical gear

Spiral bevel gear is a common transmission gear with the characteristics of helical teeth and parallel shafts, which can realize power transmission between two shafts.
20CrMnTi is a commonly used carburized steel. It can obtain good surface hardness and core toughness through carburizing and quenching processes. It is often used to manufacture high-strength, wear-resistant gears, bearings and other mechanical parts.

Suitable for all kinds of transmission systems, especially for high-speed, heavy load, high torque conditions


Products advantages:

  • High hardness and wear resistance: After carburizing and quenching treatment, the surface hardness of the gear can reach 58-64HRC. It has good wear resistance and can withstand high contact stress and wear resistance. It is suitable for heavy load and high-speed working conditions.
  • High load-bearing capacity: Due to the excellent properties of 20CrMnTi steel, the carburized and quenched gear has high bending strength and contact strength and can withstand larger loads.
  • Good toughness: The core maintains good toughness, which can prevent the gear from breaking to a certain extent.

Product shortcomings:

  • The manufacturing process is complex: the carburizing and quenching process is long and requires precise control of the carburized layer depth and quenching process to ensure gear quality.
  • Higher cost: Due to material and process requirements, the manufacturing cost of 20CrMnTi carburized and quenched spiral bevel gears is relatively high.
  • Prone to deformation and cracks: Due to the influence of temperature changes and material stress during the carburizing and quenching process, gears are prone to deformation and cracks, which need to be corrected through subsequent processing and processing.
  • High requirements for shafts and bearings: Due to the high hardness of gears, the shafts and bearings that match them also need to have good hardness and wear resistance, otherwise it will easily cause wear of the matching parts.
