Widely Minerals Processing Classifier Hydrocyclone for Mineral Dressing
Introduction
Classifiers are mainly spiral classifiers and hydrocyclones. They
are widely used for classifying ore sands in the close-circuit
process together with ball mill in the dressing plant, or for
classifying ore sands and fine silts in gravity concentrator,
classifying the particle size of ore pulp in metal beneficiation
process, and for desliming and dehydration in ore dressing. The
classifier is reliable and easy to operate with simple structure.
The tailings pulp enters into hydrocyclone firstly for thickening,
and the concentration of underflow can reach to 65%~70%, then
underflow is sent to dewatering process by high-frequency
dewatering screen. Finally, the water content of oversize material
is less than 16%, then, the oversize material is transported to a
dry storage area via belt conveyor; The undersize material returns
to cyclone feeding, and the cyclone and dewatering screen form a
simple closed circuit system, which ensures that the dry material
can be produced by the dewatering screen completely. In addition,
the overflow of hydrocyclone enters to deep cone thickener and
pressure filter for further thickening and dewatering to achieve
complete tailings dry stacking
Features
Hrdrocyclone is a device for classifying ore pulp by centrifugal
force. It is equipped with motion power units and needs the
installation of appropriate mud pump. It is mainly used for
classifying, separation, concentration and desliming in ore
dressing industry. The hydrocyclone is with low equipment cost,
easy to assemble and disassemble, convenient for maintenance,
covers small area and with low capital construction cost; it has
large unit volume handling capacity, fine classifying particle size
and high classifying efficiency. The volume and time for retention
of ore pump in the hydrocyclone is less, and it is easy to handle
at downtime.
