Alloy 6xxx series:
Alloy 6xxx series is known as alloy of Al, Mg and Si and common used alloy is 6061, 6063, 6101, 6151 and 6262.
1. Alloy 6061 is typical corrosion resistant one and can apply heat treatment. T6 treatment can empower high resistance values to 6061 alloy but dissolves the interface strength.
2. Alloy 6063 as representative alloy extrusion, the strength is lower than 6061 but good extrusion ability can make the shape of cross section shape of complex material. 3. Alloy 6101 is usually used as conductive materials of high grade, for example, 55% IACS guarantee wire.
4. Alloy 6151 is typically excellent in the field of forging and its corrosion resistance and surface processing ability is also good, which is suitable for complex forging products, mechanical and automotive components.
5. Alloy 6262 has better corrosion resistance and surface processing ability than 2011 and the same strength ability as 6061. It is often used as camera body, oxidizer component, brake component and gas appliance component.
