ISO5660-1:2015 Test Method for Heat Release Rate of Building
Materials.
2, Scope of use:
The oxygen consumption calculated from the oxygen concentration in
the gas stream of combustion products and the heat release rate of
combustion products. The heat release rate of materials is also the
most important parameter in the combustion performance of
materials. Accurate measurement of the heat release rate of
materials in the combustion process is extremely important for the
prediction of fire hazards and fire retardant prevention treatment.

ISO 5660-1 Sample Requirements:
The surface of the sample must be flat, and the sample must
represent the actual product, preferably similar to the final
product. A complete test requires 12 samples.
