Inline IV filter is designed to filter contaminants such as fine particles, air, micro-organisms, endotoxins, bacteria and fungi in intravenous infusion lines. The in-line filters also removes air bubbles from IV tubing to ensure the safety of patients, therefore infusion set with IV filters are more reliable than those without.
The IV filters we manufacture and supply are composed of PES membrane and ABS housing. Other filter medias such as PP, PET with or without support available as well to meet your specific applications and budget. The membrane pore sizes of our infusion filter products is selectable ranging from 0.22 μm to 5 μm. The filter medias incorporated can be a single layer or double layers as per your request, but double-layer-membrane IV filter has much better performance of retaining micro-particles and other possible contaminants and ensures a much safer intravenous infusion.
