This figure-8 cable is widely used in outdoor aerial mounting distribution sytem, which is anti-UV, anti-flame, anti-mouse biting. Especially 7pcs 0.4mm(some use 0.33mm) steel wire makes it good tensile strengthe and crush resistance.
