Silicone coated fiberglass fabric is a basic 850g e-glass fiberglass fabric coated with grey or other color silicone coating on two sides. For this 1mm silicone coated fabric, coating is 100gsm per side, so total weight of silicone fiberglass fabric is 1050g/m2, 31oz/yd2. This satin woven silicone coated fiberglass fabric is high density, heavy duty thermal insulation material.

Silicone coating improves fiberglass cloth's electrical insulation and abrasion resistance. The basic 850gsm fiber glass fabric can withstand heat below 550℃ continuously, silicone coating can be used at temperature from -50 to 260℃.
 
Silicone coated fiberglass fabric is widely used for industrial thermal insulation. Main application includes fire blanket, welding blanket, engine heat insulation, fabric expansion joint and removable thermal insulation blanket .
