Theory
1. Traveling mechanism: The traveling mechanism of the excavator
includes driving wheels, supporting pulleys and guide wheels. The
driving wheels are powered by the engine and transmit the power to
the crawler belt through the transmission system, thereby pushing
the excavator forward or backward. Support pulleys and guide
pulleys help support and guide the movement of the track. They are
located at the front and rear of the excavator and help control the
direction and stability of the excavator.
2. Power system: The power system of an excavator is usually driven
by an internal combustion engine or an electric motor. Internal
combustion engines usually use diesel as fuel to transmit power to
the drive wheels through the transmission system. Electric
excavators use electrical energy as a power source to drive the
driving wheels through electric motors. The power system provides
sufficient power and torque to propel the excavator to travel and
perform digging operations.
The walking principle of the excavator can realize operations such
as forward, backward, turning and positioning by controlling the
speed and direction of the driving wheels. Operators can use
joysticks, foot pedals or other controls to control the excavator's
traveling motion to suit specific job requirements and site
