2. The significance of stator vacuum testing:
The coil is easy to discharge in vacuum, so we can better test the enameled winding whether has problem or not. The vacuum here is not complete vacuum environment given that the winding won’t discharge under complete vacuum status. There are some failure cannot be detected well if the stator was exposed under normal atmosphere.
