1.9/3.3KV Copper Core Mining Cable Rubber Sheathed Flexible Cable
Application:
Mine cables are the abbreviation of cables for coal mines. All
cables used in mines are flame-retardant cables, and they should be
issued with a certificate of safety mark for mining products by the
National Mining Product Safety Marking Center. Mining cables are
used for power connection of shearers and similar equipment with a
rated voltage of 1.9/3.3kV and below.
Use characteristics:
● Maximum allowable working temperature of cable conductor: 65℃ 90℃
● The minimum allowable working environment temperature of the
cable is -35℃
● Cable bending radius: not more than 6 times the outer diameter of
the cable.
Flame-retardant mechanism of mining cables:
Flame retardants are added to the insulation and sheath materials
of mining cables. Under the heat of the combustion reaction, the
flame retardants in the condensed phase decompose and absorb heat,
which slows down the temperature rise in the condensed phase and
delays the thermal decomposition rate of the material; After the
flame retardant is thermally decomposed, the chain reaction free
radical cable is released, which interrupts the branches of the
flame and the chain reaction, and slows down the gas phase reaction
speed; catalyzes the thermal decomposition of the solid phase
product in the condensed phase, and the formation of the coking
layer or the foam layer strengthens these layers The role of a hard
shell that hinders heat transfer; under the action of heat, the
flame retardant undergoes an endothermic phase change, which
physically prevents the temperature rise in the condensed phase.
